What You’ll Do

  • Take necessary action to ensure that the assigned asset fleet is in a safe, compliant and operational condition to maximize commercial availability, improve customer experience, reduce cost of operation, and maximize utilization and reliability.
  • Identify and maintain accurate historical records for each assigned asset.
  • Create and update asset status and availability reports.
  • Identify, onboard and establish relationships with a network of vendors within assigned geographical region in order to meet service response and budget metrics.
  • Review and process assigned service requests within the prescribed resolution windows.
  • Document all maintenance actions which occur by asset and installed component.
  • Analyze and take action to sustain an operational fleet within the assigned budget.
  • Review and collaborate with teammates to establish appropriate, preventive and scheduled maintenance actions.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to create an amazing user experience.
  • Analyze data and take action to influence Cost of Operation and Maintenance.
  • Identify and evaluate solutions to design requirements.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for design for maintainability inputs.
  • Review and comment on proposed fleet service bulletins and maintain accurate records of fleet asset compliance.
  • Establish acceptance criteria for designs
  • Conduct research and perform special projects as requested by the direct supervisor.
  • Responsible for daily review of work orders initiated by the City Director.
    Performs asset repair vs. replacement analysis and recommends most cost effective, efficient and expeditious solution.
  • Conducts quarterly visits (or more depending on need) to each unit within area of responsibility to perform walk through with End User Leadership to proactively identify maintenance issues.
  • Performs bi-annual facilities assessments with the Sr. Facilities Manager.
  • Documents report findings and addresses maintenance concerns not previously corrected.
  • Conducts asset training days with company employees.
  • Follows up on preventive maintenance activities.
  • Maintains the PM agreements in accordance with the contract and for easy access by all stakeholders.
  • Maintains integrity of all vendor documents including but not limited to Certificates of Insurance and Licenses.
  • Acts as the single point of contact for all issues experienced by their assets that are not handled routinely using the work order management system.
  • Works directly with Construction / Project Managers to resolve any complex issues reported by End Users, Launchers, Regional Managers, Directors, or Executive Management.
  • Maintains and monitors the work order management system daily.
  • Oversees and directs contractors and ensures work is completed in a professional manner.
  • Other duties as assigned and modified at City Director’s discretion.

What We Want From You:

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in various roles as an asset, fleet, maintenance or facilities manager with focus on fulfilling and coordinating service requests for asset maintenance and reliability
  • Bachelor’s degree Preferred
  • Current or previous industry certifications
  • Field Service or Support in the rental vehicle, Electric bikes or Commercial Fleet Vehicle Industries
  • Field experience in the Restaurant, HVAC, Construction or Commercial Maintenance Industries
  • Demonstrated problem solving/risk mitigation experience
  • Demonstrated project/program budget and cost planning and execution
  • Must have general technical knowledge of construction, mechanicals, electricals, plumbing, structure and automotive maintenance practices
  • Must have intermediate mobile and web-based system skills
  • Must have ability to analyze data and make rational decisions to improve performance metrics
  • Must have ability to manage and oversee 3rd party vendors
  • Must be able to hold vendors accountable to deliverables and ensure market rate pricing
  • Up to 50% travel may be required
