REEF is currently looking for an Event Supervisor to work at our DOWNTOWN TORONTO location.

Position:   Event Supervisor- Part Time

Location:    Scotiabank Arena – 40 Bay Street

Start Date: September 15, 2021

Shift: Mon – Fri (Event based schedule) 8 – 40 hours per week.


**Changes may be made to this schedule are subject to operational requirements.

Candidates must be available to work evening shifts (4:30pm - 11:00pm) from Monday-Friday as per the events schedule at the Scotiabank Arena and Maple Leaf Square.

What You’ll Do:

Staff Supervision

  • Coordination of staffing for attended sites based on regular manpower requirements and event activity.
  • Staff disciplinary action, including issuing of written warnings. Subsequent monitoring and follow up action, and participation in grievance/dismissal proceedings.
  • Monitoring of personnel to ensure compliance with company uniform and service standards.
  • Completion of paperwork related to staff hiring, transfer, termination, and hours worked. 

Lot Maintenance/Set-Up:

  • Regular review of the lot’s physical condition including landscaping, signage, surface, lighting, automated equipment, etc.
  • Initiation of work orders deal with any necessary maintenance or improvements ensuring that necessary coding information is provided for accounting purposes and capital expenditure items are approved as needed.
  • Liaison with contractors, maintenance department, equipment suppliers, and Landlord/Property Manager during site set-up
  • Ensure that all accounting and contract information is distributed to ensure appropriate internal set up of site. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 



  • Work is performed indoors, including walking, sitting and standing for an extended period of time including up to the entire duration of the shift.



  • Work is performed indoors or outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.



  • Minimum of two years customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • College diploma or degree
  • Previous experience within the parking industry is an asset.
