JOB DESCRIPTION

The head of real estate lease administration at REEF Technology owns the single source of truth on all of REEF’s real estate leases globally. The role is shaped by evolving leasing management technology and is not general team support and paperwork processing. The head of real estate lease administration is a leadership role that is empowered to make decisions and, therefore, must have strong business management and project management skills. This person is

REEF Technology is in an aggressive real estate expansion mode. These additional sites must contribute to value. This role will interact regularly with specialists representing a diverse number of business disciplines within REEF to drive that value.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the real estate lease administration function from a strategic, tactical and operational perspective.
  • Build and manage the team and capability aligned with the different asset- and portfolio segments.
  • Manage the lease abstracting process
  • Draft or edit correspondence regarding lease related obligations.
  • Manage the web-based lease administration software
  • Set up internal processes that create a simple platform where measurable, accurate and useful information is added to the lease administration database in a consistent fashion

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Have strong business management and project management skills
  • Design and update processes to manage an aggressive expansion mode with minimal staff
  • Understand the purpose and application of real estate lease clauses
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field; Master’s Degree preferred
  • A minimum of seven years of management experience, including five years supervising staff in a legal or other professional services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior management and leadership attorneys
  • Strong focus on client service and responsiveness
  • Strong communications skills; ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Demonstrated commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team and ability to lead, influence and motivate others
  • Paraprofessional experience preferred
