Shifts: #1 FULL - TIME: Monday – Friday: 2p – 10p   #2 PART – TIME: Saturday & Sunday: 8a- 5p

What You’ll Do

The Ambassador performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location the ambassador provides customer service, including helping customers with entry/exit transactions, maintaining parking equipment in operating condition with receipt paper and free of jams, providing vehicle jump starts to customers. Company vehicle provided. The Ambassador works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cleanliness as well as safety standards are met at all times

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for our customers, via in-person communication and PARCs intercom.
  • Assists customers with requests for information about parking, parking equipment and hospital.
  • Cleans garage stairwells, pedestrian walkways and elevator.
  • Serves as backup to shuttle driver and valet.
  • Ensures that operations are running smoothly at assigned locations per the service model.
  • Creates reports and compiles all necessary documentation both current and historical relating to daily parking operations.
  • Responds to the changes and demands of the customer volume to create solutions that support the service model required.
  • Provide great customer service to customers, patrons, and clients of the operation(s)
  • Other duties as assigned

What We Want From You:

  • Must have at least two (2) years' experience in a recent and relevant customer service position.
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in a transportation environment; specifically as it relates to parking equipment maintenance.
  • The qualified candidate must be able to work independently and proactively and will have strong written and verbal skills.
  • The preferred candidate will be able to demonstrate patience when handling a variety of customer issues and situations.
  • Must be able to walk, run and potentially stand for long periods of time outside in all weather conditions.
  • High level of professionalism and be an expert in all areas of customer service
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre- employment drug screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Constantly move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
  • Stand for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
  • Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
  • Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
