COUPA / S2P (Source to Pay) Lead Engineer

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, management, IT, Finance, or other related field and 3 to 5 years of Coupa Business Spend Management (BSM) source to pay business transformation and hands-on configuration experience

Coupa BSM Platform certification and experience leading Coupa BSM applications deployment portfolio. Hands-on administration is required

Outstanding written, verbal, communication and formal presentation skills, excellent listening, analytical and problem-solving skills and strong organisation and prioritiSation skills are required

Familiarity with compliance and governance controls, solid technical writing skills, and an ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex business issues are essential

Responsibilities:

The Coupa System Lead Engineer is responsible for the strategic, technical ownership of Coupa to design, configure, and implement new features required to enable S2P business processes.

The candidate develops and conducts supplier/user training as necessary to enable S2P digitisation and maximise spend through controlled catalogues to achieve measurable cost savings and transaction process efficiency targets

This position requires the above-mentioned goals to be achieved through highly experienced hands-on Coupa BSM process/system functionality & configuration expertise including integrations to external entities and relevant application systems

Maintains deep source to pay business process knowledge expertise to implement Coupa BSM process efficiencies (related application systems landscape: ERP, Identity Access Management, etc.).

Designs and configures Coupa to account for new process requests/requirements that may arise and implements efficient, effective, and user-friendly processes within Coupa BSM (Procurement, Expenses, SIM, Sourcing & Spend Guard)

Partners with technical teams responsible for development and support of Coupa integrations with interfacing systems through Mulesoft ESB

Reviews release notes for Coupa enhancements and drives assessment through implementation of enhancements and impact resolutions

Produces, maintains, and executes test scripts for system end-to-end/user acceptance testing necessary for new functionality, defect resolution, and regression testing

Promotes Coupa user adoption by quickly resolving questions and issues to ensure an excellent user experience, process efficiency, and use of best practices

Creates and maintains knowledge management documentation and training videos of Coupa operating procedures and leads user / supplier communication and training

Provides project management leadership for key stakeholders (various BPOs) to ensure everyone is informed throughout the project and satisfied with the result

Maintains catalog offerings current with updated prices, terms, and conditions as negotiated by the sourcing team

Tracks and reports on identified key business savings & efficiency indicators

Leads the planning, documentation, and implementation of segregation of duties and security policies, standards, and audit procedures to ensure they are consistent with Company goals, industry best practices, and regulatory (SOX, PCIDSS) requirements

Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfil our mission, and/or abide by our core values

Create and maintain technical and process documentation for the Coupa platform

Design, implement and support best-in-class Coupa configuration to automate and streamline S2P processes.

Will work with vendors, stakeholders, and users to maintain excellent user experience

Participate in all aspects of implementation from mobilisation to deployment across functions within the company

Develop clear detailed specifications based on business requirements

Represents team in front of stakeholders, clients, or users.

Work closely with product management and senior management in order to create a product that fits the company portfolio.
