 What You’ll Do 

This position is part of a highly visible team within the company that requires confident leadership and an entrepreneurial-minded individual comfortable with interacting with senior level stakeholders. 

The role offers a steep learning curve, the opportunity to scale a business, close partnership with our executive leadership team, and a platform to make a lasting impact. 

Ideally, you will be an organizational change agent who ideates, deploys, and evaluates initiatives and programs to drive business goals, efficiency, and strategies. From engagement to partnerships and strategic relationships, you’ll interface with senior leaders and executives by providing strategic counsel and advice to drive REEF’s core business. By leveraging a strategic approach, you’ll showcase your mastery of critical thinking, methodical planning, and data analysis while championing work streams and business processes. If you’re analytical with a can-do attitude and an eye for asking the right questions at the right time, we have got a position for you. 

  • Own the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives, including opportunity assessment, business case development, valuation, and financial modeling, leading due diligence processes, deal negotiation and integration planning  
  • Source, research, and recommend potential M&A and strategic opportunities  
  • Frame questions, analysis, and meaningful and unbiased decision points for executives / partners to make informed, efficient decisions  
  • Build repeatable processes and standard methodologies  
  • Be a subject matter expert on our industry, adjacent spaces, and relevant other companies. Develop an understanding of competitive landscape (industry trends, competitor strategies)  
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership to evaluate and execute opportunities  
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders at various levels regularly 
  • Support with special projects requested by Head of Corporate Strategy 

What We Want From You: 

  • 6+ years of experience with a combination of top-tier technology, investment banking, and management consulting roles  
  • Must have 3+ years prior experience with driving buy-side M&A transactions end-to-end 
  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment  
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a practical, quantifiable, and structured approach to problem solving  
  • Ability to perform rigorous financial, valuation, and broad quantitative analyses and familiarity with accounting & key operational metrics  
  • Ability to context switch and ramp up quickly on new topics  
  • Attentive to details and highly organized, with strong independent planning and process management skills  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills  
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and work across all organizational levels  

Work is performed indoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
