What You’ll Do

Delivery platforms are the engine of growth for Reef and at the core of its success. The Head of delivery platform operations for UK, will lead all aspects of delivery partner operations to support Reef’s growth plans in the UK. Reporting to the Global SVP of Delivery Partner Ops, this person will manage all aspects of the relationship with delivery platform partners from day to day operations to strategic initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Reef brand teams to ensure successful new brand (kitchen and brand) launches as well as expansion efforts of existing brands.

  • Responsible for leading and successfully delivering key initiatives with delivery platform partners including testing of new concepts, new brands,
  • Cultivate positive, collaborative relationships with all delivery partner contacts and the development of a true partnership
  • Drive discussions with new delivery partners from negotiations to integration, and also maintain a pipeline of new partners
  • Leverage central delivery partner capabilities to manage end to end delivery partner operations for existing and new brand partners (kitchen and retail) in UK
  • Partner with brand success and launch teams to ensure successful pilot launches for new kitchen brands and expansion efforts for existing brands
  • Play a lead role in driving product enhancements pertaining to delivery partner operations (e.g., menu management, delivery partner integration enhancements)
  • Lead and build team for delivery platform operations in the UK to support growth
  • Define key operational metrics for success; track ongoing performance and regularly report to REEF KITCHENS senior leadership
  • Partner with cross functional teams to drive growth for existing brands on delivery partners (e.g., menu optimization to support growth in average order size/value)
  • Work closely with US/CA delivery partner ops peers to build processes and capabilities for delivery partner related functions as Reef continues to grow and scale

What We Want From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred but not required
  • 7+ years’ experience in operations, consulting, or similar role
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast paced, growth environment
  • Solution-oriented, with the ability to assess business issues top-down and bottom-up
  • A good mix of
  • Strategic thinker: with the ability to think big picture and nurture relationships with delivery partners
  • Structured thinker: thinker who can manage detailed/complex operations, develop repeatable processes and roll them out across a broader team
  • Exceptional project management skills, including strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
  • Able to problem solve quickly in cross-functional teams
  • People leader – ability to delegate, mentor and ensure team delivers results and enjoys doing so
  • Familiar with and adept at analytical and technology skills related to delivery partner platforms – preferred but not required
  • Experience working with food delivery platforms is a plus but not required
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools
