What You’ll Do

Delivery platforms are the engine of growth for REEF and at the core of its success. The Director of Onboarding, Delivery Platforms will lead key aspects of delivery partner operations to support REEF’s international growth plans. This position is part of a highly visible team within the company that requires confident leadership and an entrepreneurial-minded individual comfortable with interacting with senior level stakeholders. Reporting to the Head of DP Central Ops, this person will manage certain aspects of the relationship with delivery platform partners from day-to-day operations to strategic initiatives. This role will partner closely with the REEF’s brand teams to ensure successful new brand (kitchen and retail) launches as well as expansion efforts of existing brands.
The role offers a steep learning curve, the opportunity to scale a business, close partnership with our executive leadership team, and a platform to make a lasting impact. Delivery Service Platforms (DSPs) such as Uber Eats provide two key services for REEF: marketplace (demand generation) and fulfillment (delivery to consumer). You will own the end-to-end operations for REEF as it relates to the DSPs: onboarding new brands, ensuring quality control on menus, troubleshooting real-time issues for REEF on DSPs, data analytics and more. You and your team will play a key role in ensuring REEF maximizes sales on the DSPs. Partner with brand success and launch teams to ensure successful pilot launches for new brands and expansion efforts for existing brands

  • Work with brand success and field ops to onboard new brands on all delivery platforms that partner with REEF, ensuring brands are ready to go on the day of launch
  • Lead and successfully deliver key initiatives with delivery platform partners including testing of new concepts and new brands
  • Cultivate positive, collaborative relationships with all delivery platform partner contacts and the development of a true partnership
  • Drive discussions with new delivery platform partners from negotiations to integration, and maintain a pipeline of new partners
  • Build the playbook for onboarding of storefronts for these new delivery platform partners
  • Leverage central delivery platform partner capabilities to manage end to end delivery platform partner operations for existing and new brand partners
  • Partner with cross functional teams to drive growth for existing brands on delivery platform partners (e.g., menu optimization to support growth in average order size/value)
  • Play a lead role in driving product enhancements pertaining to delivery platform partner operations (e.g., menu management, delivery platform partner integration enhancements)
  • Play a lead role in the growth of our Direct-to-Consumer Sales Channel
  • Work closely with delivery platform partner ops peers to build processes for delivery platform partner related functions as REEF continues to grow and scale
  • Build new capabilities to ensure smooth delivery platform operations to support REEF’s international growth
  • Define key operational metrics for success, track ongoing performance and regularly report to senior leadership
  • Develop data driven frameworks for evaluating operational problems and develop solutions
  • Liaise with internal/external stakeholders at various levels regularly

What We Want From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university in business administration, finance, economics or any quantitative field. MBA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of work experience in operations, consulting, or similar role
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels to drive forward impactful changes, as well as ability to problem solve quickly in cross-functional teams
  • A self-starter with proven ability to work in a fast-paced, growth environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Superior emotional intelligence with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous setting and superb attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to internalize feedback and improve through training
  • Solution-oriented, with the ability to assess business issues top-down and bottom-up
  • Familiar with and adept at analytical and technology skills related to delivery platforms partners – preferred but not required
  • Exceptional project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines
  • A strategic thinker, with the ability to think big picture and nurture relationships with delivery platform partners
  • A structured thinker, who can manage detailed/complex operations, develop repeatable processes and roll them out across a broader team

  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools
