We are looking for a passionate, intelligent and experienced individual to lead our Park OS engineering team and create the products that impact how millions of people experience driving and mobility.
What You’ll Do • Lead a team of software engineers to design, build, deliver, and operate complex software. • Hands-on technical lead. Lead technical conversations and participate in technical and architectural decision making and review code. • Work with engineers and/or product managers to maintain a prioritised backlog and create short term and long term goals • Work with cross-functional teams to evolve the platform and product. • Hire, train, mentor, motivate and retain top engineering talent • Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of team members.
What We Want From You: • 7+ years of software development experience building scalable web application and service-oriented architectures; • Experience building modern extensible java-based backend system platforms; • 3+ years of technical leadership and architectural guidance • Experience in hiring, mentoring, and developing engineers • Excellent knowledge of design patterns and engineering best practices • Experience with public cloud infrastructures such as AWS is a Plus. • Experience building world-class UI and self-service tools; • Understanding of OO and Design Patterns; • Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts • Experience in managing technical debt and modernising legacy environments
