What You’ll Do

  • Assist in defining Reef Fulfillment strategy and lead efforts to ramp up technology; and provide business process and system support to the Operations and act as lead for company internal initiatives. 
  • Providing leadership, direction and day-to-day support that is critical to ensuring compliance to regulatory, internal and customer food safety and quality requirements. 
  • Drive high-impact, long-term initiatives by partnering with cross-functional support groups 
  • Ensuring facilities remain up to date and compliant with Food Safety Plans including ensuring annual analysis, update-to-date rules and continued training, as needed. 
  • Trending audit gaps and prioritizing facility needs based on common trends. 
  • Determining resources needed at various fulfillment operations based on volumes and activities required 
  • Leading in root cause analysis and corrective actions as necessary. 
  • Aligning with responsible manager or director to ensure internal audit programs are effective and performed at a level to ensure compliance with current REEF Fulfillment Quality Policies and Procedures. 
  • Analyze weekly/monthly product/process cost statements & conduct cost reviews. Examine profitability trends over product/process life cycle & compare with estimates. 
  • Conduct plant level studies in cost management techniques for productivity enhancement & process improvement. 
  • Devise & implement measurement tool for monitoring performance with respect to the business plan 
  • Responsible to lead the change process by working closely with the Site Head and the rest of Site Leadership Team 
  • Optimizing available resources through capacity planning and continuous improvement to maximize productivity 
  • Leading, training & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in service operations and meeting of individual & group targets. 
  • Timely and accurate completion of duties. 
  • Travel for work, from 50% up to 75% of the time 

What We Want From You:

  • Masters degree preferred, bachelors degree required 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate long-term vision, build cross-functional relationships and effectively delegate tasks 
  • Experience working closely with your team in an ever-changing, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines 
  • Deep functional expertise and hands on experience in fulfillment operations, launching and continuous improvement 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Skilled at prioritization and multitasking 
  • Proven track record as not only a “coach/leader” leading others, but also having the willingness and ability to roll up the sleeves and engage in detailed execution when required 
  • A results-oriented individual with strong influencing, problem solving and negotiation skills that drive accountability and who has a proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in the organization to problem-solve complex issues. 
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or retail operations 
  • Leadership skills to direct workflow and lead a team. 
  • Experience in safety operations within food service distribution 
  • Certifications: HACCP, and Food Handling Certification.
