General Manager Location: Sacramento, CA
The General Manager will launch, scale, and manage REEF’s business in each primary market. The General Manager/Market Leader will own the market level P&L, build and manage a diverse team of Neighborhood Hub Leaders, and partner with functional and REEF App leaders in the region to deploy and scale a diverse portfolio of REEF Apps across distinct Neighborhood Hubs, including neighborhood kitchens, to grocery, to healthcare, to last-block logistics and experiential retail.

What You’ll Do
Build and manage a diverse team of functional leaders and Neighborhood Directors. Own, grow, and optimize the Market-level P&L working in close partnership with vertical business leaders. You will partner with other Regional, Market Leaders and REEF’s Launch team to create playbooks for incubating, launching, and scaling business verticals and new initiatives. Proactively identify new market relationships and partners. Build REEF’s strategy and business in the marketing partnership with vertical leaders (e.g., Kitchens, Grocery, Retail, Healthcare) and horizontal/functional leaders (e.g., Marketing, Sales, Finance) Partner with Communications and Public Affairs to develop and maintain relationships with key government, business, and community leaders.
EXAMPLE – (Ex. Provide Best-in-Class Benefits Services)
(WHAT) Ensure cohesiveness, accuracy, and communication (HOW) by partnering with the benefits manager and director of benefits (WHY) to address issues; ensure underlying coding aligns with carrier coding
(WHAT) Flex HR and benefits knowledge to
(WHY) address complex benefits plan, enrollment, and policy inquiries and challenges,
(HOW) while partnering across various functions (i.e., HR, accounting, payroll) and maintaining confidentiality. Must be capable of managing multiple issues and projects at once while understanding prioritization is key to success.
