What You’ll Do: 

We are looking for a Real Estate Expansion Leader for North America (Parks) to join our Real Estate Team. The Expansion Leader will oversee the conceptualization, planning, permitting, market and financial analysis, retail leasing, and development of REEF Parks. This is a critical position that requires an experienced self-starter with clear communication and leadership abilities, working with key stakeholders across a large, hyper-growth company. You will wear many hats and constantly learn new things on the job. Core responsibilities include: 

  • Evaluating potential real estate opportunities that are submitted to the Parks team both internally and externally 
  • Working with finance to access the feasibility and viability of a Park at proposed locations and analyzing proformas 
  • Negotiating letters of intent and lease agreements directly with prospective tenants
  • Participating in the identification, feasibility analysis, and negotiation of leasing to tenants in collaboration with the Programming Manager 
  • Evaluating programming and partnership opportunities in collaboration with the Programming Manager 
  • Working with marketing to put together strategic marketing and communications plans to increase awareness, reach, engagement, and attendance
  • Delivering weekly updates and reports to executive leadership on Parks milestones and ROI
  • Meeting with key stakeholders across the organization at a regular cadence to maintain alignment
  • Delivering weekly executive updates to all stakeholders 
  • Building the Parks team by identifying required positions, agencies, and consultants and working with recruitment and procurement to fill said roles 
  • Ideating new products and services to support Parks business, growth, and expansion
  • Establishing and fostering new relationships that drive revenue and increase brand awareness of Parks 
  • Maintaining solid relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally

 What We Want From You: 

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on real estate experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Experience running and developing large-scale F&B operations required
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment required
  • Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate and execute retail leases and other non-hospitality revenue opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute all types of development-related contracts.
  • Strong financial analyses skills with demonstrated ability to analyze complex economic models and structures to evaluate risk required
  • Ability to set personal and project priorities and be highly organized in the day-to-day and longer-term planning and execution, and track and maintain complex schedules effectively 
  • Excellent writing, grammar, communication, and presentation skills
  • Strong relationship management and people skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Able to balance multiple priorities and projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
