What You’ll Do
You’ll be an instrumental HR expert who works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. You’ll connect many departments within the company by representing all of its employees. As a HR Business Partner, you’ll manage the daily operations of Corporate Functions by executing HR policies and procedures, initiating resource planning and recruitment, and maintaining interdepartmental communication.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-level, strategic HR business partnerships to business leaders across multiple Corporate Functions.
  • Assess business partners organizational needs and partner with people managers to development and implement consistent strategies for employee development, such as identifying effective ways to recognize employees.
  • Design strategies to improve overall morale while measuring and assessing the level of improvement.
  • Act as a resource to business partners regarding compensation and benefits issues; coach management on salary increase recommendations and new hires, promotions and other staffing changes.
  • Provide guidance and input on local restructures, workforce planning, succession planning, etc.
  • Provide strategic counsel and advisement to operations business partners to enforce goal-setting and performance review practices, communicate critical timelines and processes, and provide strategies for performance ratings and effective employee
  • Ensure compliance in all Federal and State/Provincial and Local laws, regulations, and standards are met, such as the Company’s equal opportunity and AAP goals.

What We Want From You:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (PHR) or SHRM-SCP (SPRH) preferred
  • 5+ years HR generalist experience, multi-state/province and or union experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Advanced Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills, analytically driven and resourceful thinking
  • Leadership and coaching skills
  • Strong empathy and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
