What You’ll Do:
You will be an HR subject matter expert and primary point of contact for operational business leaders. You will leverage relationship building, critical thinking, and sound decision making to drive consistent HR operations. You will contribute to the success of REEF by partnering with business leaders to enhance culture and performance through people management. While integrating current federal and state regulations, you will execute the deployment and consistent delivery of HR programs/initiatives. You will provide a proactive and strategic partnership to operations to create and deploy people solutions and strategies that align with operational goals, impact behaviors and drive execution and long-term results.  If you are an HR champion, enjoy building and coaching HR processes, and thrive in a growing and changing environment, we have a People Business Partner (PBP) position for you.

Enhance Performance & Engagement

  • Provide strategic partnership to identify key people development needs and strategies that align to the needs of the business.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify solutions and support the accomplishment of performance goals.
  • Recommend solutions to bridge any performance gaps and facilitate skill set workshops.
  • Support onboarding, assimilation of new leaders and the development of high potential future leaders.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics to develop appropriate action plans to address identified needs.
  • Partner with leaders to identify engagement and morale opportunities and suggest best practices to implement and support.
  • Collaborate with leaders within the HR department and other parts of the business to drive alignment of people and business strategy.

Business Partnership

  • Provide proactive leadership by anticipating problems and implementing appropriate solutions to minimize risk and maximize performance.
  • Act as a resource to business leaders regarding compensation, benefits, salary increase recommendations, promotions and other staffing changes.
  • Understand operational needs of the business and communicate as appropriate to assist with alignment of HR initiatives.
  • Provide and ensure quality implementation, compliance, and educational support of HR initiatives.

Maintain Compliance & Mitigate Risk

  • Consult with business leaders on employee relations issues and partner to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Investigate concerns of unfair treatment, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage/hour, and other potential legal issues.
  • Ensure legal compliance of HR and employee practices and partner with legal team as appropriate.
  • Reinforce the use of complaint processes, hotline and HR Help.

What We Want From You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • HR Certification preferred
  • 3+ years HR generalist experience, multi-state and or union experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and risk mitigation 
  • Robust interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong coaching and counseling skills
  • Action oriented, problem-solving, with high attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities within a matrix organization.
  • Ability to regularly travel to work sites within market and domestically within the Untied States on occasion.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
