Launch Training Coordinator

What You’ll Do 

  • Assists the Senior Launch Training Specialist with the new hire recruitment and onboarding process within the Launch team
  • Works closely with the Senior Technical Writer, BPI Launch Manager and BPI Launch Business Lead to document new processes or update existing processes and create streamlined process flowcharts, and eventually help create the digital “Launch Library”. 
  • Assists the Senior Technical Writer to manage the Launch SharePoint site, which is expected to house all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) / Policies and Procedures (P&Ps).  
  • Creates instructional manuals, policies and procedures, reports, job aids, and workflow diagrams as needed.  
  • Works with the Senior Technical Writer to update the Strategic Roadmap.  
  • Learns new (often complex) systems quickly, grasp technical concepts and translate to compelling, understandable documents for both technical and non-technical readers. 
  • Works on various subject matters including project management and information technology, and understand terms such as Agile, SDLC, networks, cyber security, software development, cloud computing, & business development. 
  • Assist with establishing and maintaining editorial, layout and design standards, and style guides. 
  • Accountable for maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy. 
  • Provides general support to the overall BPI team as needed. 

What We Want From You: 

  • Bachelor's degree (in-progress is acceptable) – preferably in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field. 
  • 1-3 years of experience (or equivalent internship) in the technical writing industry.  
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and experience with SharePoint or similar solution required.  
  • Minimal understanding of Asana or similar project management tool. 
  • Ability to work quickly, accurately, and collaboratively to manage competing projects in an intense, deadline-driven environment.
  • Able to work independently, without a lot of supervision, and be comfortable working as part of a diverse team. Able to work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather the necessary information to create clear and effective documentation to appropriate audiences. 
  • Ability to think critically and draw from multiple resources to create clear and accurate documents. 
  • Agile and adaptable but ability to work with precision to deliver top-notch results.  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
