Are you a tech-savvy educational enthusiast ready to take on the challenge and wear multiple hats, playing the role of writer, designer, researcher, innovator, and developer?

We are looking for a professional contemporary Instructional Designer to design and develop our learning content

This position develops learning objectives and performance outcomes for training courses/learning activities, develops content to meet learning objectives, and identifies appropriate delivery mechanisms. The position develops trainer and participant materials, interactive LMS courses, release notes, user guides, and other content that will directly impact employee knowledge of business applications. The position works with subject matter experts and support team to develop and implement methodologies to review and assess learning materials and make recommendations for improvements. The position is responsible for managing learning design and development projects, including engaging and managing learning development platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Developing and maintaining visually engaging and interactive online training experiences that are inventive creative and inspiring
  • Creating unique and innovative training experiences that incorporate contemporary instructional design theories and participant-focused activities that are visually stimulating and inviting
  • Produce and deliver a variety of end-user learning materials that accommodate diverse learning styles while aligning with business needs
  • Quality controlling and improving online training experiences through developing interactive and imaginative participant-focused activities (such as simulations, games, videos, animations, graphics, or other visual communication)
  • Working with subject matter experts, technical documentation, and/or project tracking software to create and maintain training experiences
  • Maintaining and updating existing training based on product introductions, product changes, and feedback
  • Performing effective project management to meet established deadlines
  • Establishing project outlines and deadlines for projects
  • Building scalable and repeatable processes for the scoping, creation, maintenance, and launch of training experiences
  • Performing tasks in the REEF University such as uploading or replacing published SCORM files
  • Evaluating training by measuring results and recommending changes

What We Want From You:

Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Excellent storytelling and creative writing skills

Experience in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Information and Learning Technologies or related field or equivalent experience.

A minimum of three years’ experience in designing, developing and evaluating curriculum, learning activities and resources for self-directed e-learning training and on-the-job practice activities.

Previous experience supporting Articulate 360, and Absorb preferred.

Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
