What You'll Do

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):                                

  • Accurately write down all vehicle license plates by lot
  • Provide customer service-oriented support to customers as needed while out on lot
  • Observe operation and report issues that may compromise safety of the customers and
  • co- workers
  • Fill in and provide breaks to shuttle drivers as needed or directed by management
  • Fill in and provide breaks to other employees as needed or directed by management
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of luggage and other items transported by the
  • Ensure passenger safety through safe driving techniques including following all road signs and speed limit signs
  • Maintain the general appearance of the van/shuttle throughout the day
  • Including light maintenance of the interior of the van/shuttle.
  • Washing of the exterior of the company vehicles as needed as needed.
  • Document passenger counts as directed by management

What We Want From You:

Requirements:

Potential candidates must have the following:

  • Valid Alaska State driver’s license (all candidates)
  • Clean driving record for the past year (all candidates)
  • Ability to obtain valid medical card (all candidates)
  • Demonstrated ability to work well alone for extended periods of time (existing employees)
  • Demonstrated ability to be productive with previous positions within the company (existing employees)
  • Demonstrated ability to follow the current policies and procedures of the company (existing employees)
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a changing work environment including schedule changes and location changes (existing employees)
  • Demonstrated ability to show up on time for work shift (existing employees)
  • Demonstrated ability to work outside in the weather productively (existing employee)

At least 18 years of age

Valid Driver's License

Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles (stick shift)

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability to verbally communicate with guests

Previous valet experience, preferred
