What You’ll Do

The Parking Maintenance staff performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location, the Parking Maintenance staff is responsible for general maintenance and repair of parking equipment. The Parking Maintenance staff works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that standards are met at all times. Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 11pm-7am (Monday and Tuesday off)

  • Ensure general maintenance of equipment by, repairing equipment, and maintaining equipment in good working order.    
  • Perform daily check on parking equipment (Pay stations & Meters) to ensure proper operation and general appearance; assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment, as directed by the Operations.   
  • Use respectful communication to assist guests with their questions, problems, and concerns; relay information to Operations Manager or Shift Lead, as necessary.
  • Immediately report any accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.
  • Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates.

  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness at the garage, sweeping and trash removal
  • Mop stairwells, dust equipment and signs
  • Garage Power wash - Power washing machine to be use
  • Break and restroom maintenance
  • Ability to conduct Landscaping and Snow Work/Removal
  • Ensure positive experience for all Impark customers and clients
  • Work effectively as a team with co-workers and management
  • Ability to conduct minor repairs on facility Conduct open stall counts
  •  Must be able to be on-call 24/7 during the winters to provide storm response services
  • Work on special maintenance projects
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to maintain a clean and orderly facility & grounds
  •  Knowledge or ability to learn parking equipment
  • Capability to work with cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to take direction from manager or supervisor
  • Ability to work well with co-worker
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • 1 year of previous maintenance experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Positive Attitude
  • Problem solving skills and organizational skills
  • Able to lift at least 80 pounds
  • Able to stand on feet for long periods of time
  • Ability to conduct minor Painting Work

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
  • Occasionally position self in order to perform maintenance and repair tasks by bending or stooping
  • Perform maintenance tasks by occasionally climbing and reaching
  • Occasionally lift and carry maintenance equipment and machinery, up to 80 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift. Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather. Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
