What You’ll Do

You'll be a right arm to our legal professionals and attorneys who support REEF's legal initiatives, documents, and programs, providing support on employment litigation matters across all of the REEF businesses. You’ll also:

  • Assist in the handling of employment pre-litigation disputes and litigation
  • Help respond to subpoenas, attorney demand letters and agency matters, including government-initiated inquiries and audits.
  • Track employment litigation matters, implement legal holds, manage litigation deadlines, collect, analyze and produce documents
  • Work with internal clients to obtain necessary documents for subpoenas and pending litigation
  • Review and manage legal invoices
  • Interface with employees at all levels as well as various third parties, including opposing counsel, vendors, and customers
  • Execute legally oriented tasks and duties while working against tight deadlines; manage concurrent projects and response deadlines
  • Complete other assigned projects and duties

What We Want From You:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree required.
  • A minimum of 1-5 years or more paralegal experience, with employment paralegal experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment, both collaborating as a ream and working independently
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Paralegal certificate is a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer service-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
