What You’ll Do

The Parking Enforcement team member performs a variety of tasks to ensure a smooth operation of the parking facility, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. Depending on the needs of the location the Lot Attendant provides customer service, including helping customers with entry/exit transactions, maintaining parking equipment in operating condition with receipt paper and free of jams, providing vehicle jump starts to customers. Company vehicle provided. The Parking Enforcement team member works closely with fellow team members, Operations Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cleanliness as well as safety standards are met at all times

  • Must use assigned hand held ticket writing computer and printer.
  • Patrols streets and lots on foot therefore must be able to walk and be on foot for a period of at least 8 hours.
  • Identifies improperly parked vehicles.
  • Initiate procedure for having scofflaw vehicles towed.
  • Utilize the hand held ticket writers to take photos as part of the process.
  • Checks meters for proper functioning and reports broken, vandalized or missing meters.
  • May work various shifts, weekends, evenings, and holidays. All drinking or party holidays are mandatory to work, (St. Patties day, Memorial day, beer fest, New years eve ext) Paid holidays are Christmas, Thanksgiving, 4th of July, Labor day & New years day.
  • Perform activities, functions and other related tasks and duties as assigned or required.

What We Want From You:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to verbally communicate with guests
  • Previous customer service experience, preferred
  • Some knowledge of parking regulations
  • Ability to walk for long periods in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to read and understand signs.
  • Ability to complete work assignments, take and understand directives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement and to react with discretion under varying conditions.
