What You’ll Do

REEF Parking is currently looking for a full-time Parking Garage Supervisor to oversee the downtown REEF maintenance team. The Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day management of a location maintenance ensuring that parking operations are handled within contractual guidelines of the specific location, adhering to company policies and procedures, fostering good client relations and promoting a professional image and approach to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as
    directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with staff related issues, covering shifts, maintaining schedules Participate in programs to
    improve client and customer satisfaction Assist in the management of day-to-day activities of the
    assigned location(s).
  • Assist with management duties as assigned. Report any known accidents, observed or suspected
    violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Director of
    Maintenance.
  • Assist with maintaining work orders, fulfilling contractual responsibilities with the client and ensure
    that all technological programs are being utilized properly.
  • Substitute for any position, if necessary.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all the areas of the facilities, additional locations, as well as the major
    streets, landmarks and freeways of the area of the facilities.

Perform the following tasks in the field with the maintenance team:
- Installation of signage/flex posts

 -Inspection of weekly maintenance check-lists
- Bush and Tree Trimming/Removal
- Leaf Clean-up
- Trash Pick-up and Removal
- Drain Clearing
- Garage Sweeping
- Act as primary contact for maintenance vendors
- Painting projects

Education/Requirements:
• Must be honest, trustworthy and self-motivated
• Must be willing to work long days and go the extra mile to ensure company-wide success
• Must possess quality leadership skills with a proven track record of leading by example
• Must have valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift
  • Occasionally position self in order to perform maintenance and repair tasks by bending or stooping
  • Perform maintenance tasks by occasionally climbing and reaching
  • Occasionally lift and carry maintenance equipment and machinery, up to 50 lbs.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time including up to the entire duration of shift.
  • Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
  • Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
