POSITION OVERVIEW:

A pre-collector performs a variety of tasks to ensure all events are ran in a smooth manner in our parking facilities, while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client expectations. Depending on the needs of the event location the pre-collector will provide excellent customer service including assisting with entry/exit transactions for customers and providing directions to, through or from the facility.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

  • Provide friendly and timely customer service as directed by Event Manager.
  • Attend to and follow through with any needs the Event Manager has deemed necessary based on the needs of each specific event.
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner in all conversations.
  • Accurately accept payments for event pre-collects, money handling.
  • Efficiently and accurately operate provided technology (i.e. tablets, smart phones, gate equipment) as directed by Event Manager. Training will be provided.
  • Standing in same area for 3 or more hours.
  • Providing essential event needs in variable weather conditions.
  • Arrive to work and operate in business casual attire.
  • Arrive to specified locations prior to start time to prepare for successful customer service.
  • Have general knowledge of the events taking place.
  • Be ready to call on the Event Manager when faced with a challenging situation/customer.
  • What We Want From You:

    •   At least 18 years of age
    •   Excellent customer service and communication skills
    •   Ability to verbally communicate with guests
    •   Previous customer service experience, preferred

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    • Occasionally move around the property by walking for extended periods of time.
    • Frequently operate small office equipment such as cash register, calculator, copier/printer
    • Will remain in seated position for extended periods of time.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Work is performed in indoor as well as outdoor environments.
    • Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.
    • Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
