What You’ll Do
Works with the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to establish and implement project management methodologies and best-practices.
Supports the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager with adhering to proper meeting efficiency.
Owns the end-to-end project management effort for approved small-to-medium sized Missions and supports the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager with larger-scale Campaigns.
Responsible for meeting recaps and updating the project “RAID Logs” (to capture Risks, Assumptions, Actions, Issues, Dependencies, Decisions), and ensuring the tasks are properly linked to the appropriate Asana projects.
Works closely with the Technical Writers to document new processes or update existing processes, create streamlined process flowcharts, and establish a digital repository.
Works with the Senior Technical Writer to update the Strategic Roadmap.
Provides general support to the overall PMO team as needed.
What We Want From You:
Bachelor’s Degree (in-progress is acceptable) – preferably in Business, Project Management, or related field.
0-1 years of project management, business analysis, process improvement, and/or operations experience.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), and experience with SharePoint preferred.
Experience with and understanding of Asana or similar project management tool.
Ability to learn new concepts and technical systems quickly and proficiently.
Minimal familiarity with Agile Project Management and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
Minimal knowledge regarding business process redesign and strategic planning.
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Exceptional time management skills and the ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities, as well as reprioritize tasks as needed.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Results-oriented and customer-focused.
