What You'll Do
Project manage the procurement process as well as the execution of multitude of mini electrical & plumbing projects, connecting mobile vessels of various designs to permanent power & water, where required. Project sizes vary from $15k to $100k.
Be the main accountable of these power enablement works projects for all REEF locations in the Northeast Region of US & Canada, while coordinating extensively with the local project managers on the field, who are responsible for the overall launch of locations.
Become subject matter expert in connecting mobile vessels of various designs to permanent power & water. Provide guidance and cost estimate, where needed, to the various other stakeholders within REEF on electrical enablement works for specific real estate locations.
Collaborate with the Procurement team to lead and initiate new procurement & sourcing strategies, expanding REEF’s partnership with quality subcontractors.
Be responsible for requesting proposals from approved subcontractors, conducting technical analysis on quotes, issuing purchase orders and approving invoices for the payment of subcontractors for completed works.
Establish close and coordinated relationship with the approved subcontractors, conduct regular follow up meetings, escalate blockers to relevant stakeholder for resolution and assure on-time completion of works.
Be part of the transformational change of the power enablement team, participating in the implementation of business spend software management systems, online project management tools as well as data visualization software, such as Coupa, Asana & Tableau.
Report to the Enablement Director as well as the Regional Launch Director and be part of a team of 1 accelerator and 3 other regional technical procurement & project managers, covering US & Canada.
Have the approach to solving problems with the objective of initiating constant process improvement in the electrical enablement process to achieve maximum efficiency and consistently work towards shortening the timelines of project completion.
Inspire, lead, and build a team of hyper-energetic enablement team members that is relentlessly focused on speed and efficiency
Partner with functional leaders to identify, prioritize and implement improvement initiatives, such as the Procurement Team, Launch Managers, Mobile Vessel Design team, Operations team and the Real Estate team.
What We Want From You:
You have a degree in either electrical or mechanical engineering.
You have 7+ years of project management experience in working fast paced high growth national projects as a technical procurement / supply chain manager.
You have experience in working with multiple stakeholders in matrix organizations and enjoy and thrive in being part of growing teams while continuing delivering on target under pressure.
You have effective communication skills and strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize.
You have an entrepreneurial approach to solving electrical/mechanical as well as supply chain problems with the ability to influence and understand differing needs of stakeholders
