Frontend Developer will be part of the newly started initiative to rewrite our web application to React, currently based on Ruby on Rails. We're using the latest version of React, Redux, TypeScript and Material-UI. The unified code style of the whole project is ensured by Prettier.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Optimising the user experience
Developing and maintaining the user interface
Implementing design of mobile websites
Creating tools that improve site interaction regardless of the browser
Managing software workflow
Following SEO best practices
Fixing bugs and testing for usability
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
Having good communication and language skills (fluent English is a must)
3+ years of experience as front-end developer
3+ years of experience with React and its ecosystem
Experience with Git
Experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus
Entrepreneur skills or experience
Creative and strategic thinker
Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
Ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
Organisational and time management skills
Overall understanding of technologies used in the product
