Job Overview:

The Test Automation Engineer is designing and writing scripts that run automation tests on new or existing software, which is an essential part of the software development cycle. The Test Automation Engineer is using automation frameworks (standardised guidelines) to build these programs on and write test scripts that do the testing.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Design and write test automation scripts
  • Use test automation frameworks
  • Investigate problems in software as a result of testing
  • Work with QA engineers and software engineers to find solutions
  • Come up with ideas how to improve test automation processes



  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in computer science or other highly technical, scientific discipline
  • 3+ years of experience with testing as an automation tester
  • Understanding of Rest API and Postman application
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with Java – Serenity plugin
  • Cypress
  • Experience with Jenkins application
  • Usage of Bitbucket
  • Nice to have: experience with performance tests



  • Good communication and language skills (English is the primary language used in the company)

  • Organisational and time management skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creative and critical thinker
  • Team-player attitude (the work itself is independent but you need to be aligned with and help your team if needed)

  • Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Overall understanding of technologies used in the product
