What You’ll Do

We need employees to conduct Temperature Screening at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, The Hospital will provide training and Personal Protection equipment (PPE). Employee must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work weekends and major holidays.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
• Move around the property by walking for extended periods of time, sometimes for the entire duration of shift
•  Stand for extended periods of time, sometimes for the entire duration of shift
• Sprinting short distances

What We Want From You:

At least 18 years of age

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Ability  to verbally communicate with guests

Previous customer service experience, preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasionally move around the property by walking for extended periods of time.

Frequently operate small office equipment such as calculator, copier/printer

Will remain in seated position for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in indoor as well as outdoor environments.

Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather.

Protection from weather conditions may be provided, but not necessarily from temperature changes.
