What You’ll Do

  • Assist in Managing receiving, processing and distribution operations in compliance with company’s policies and vision
  • Responsible for the daily overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience
  • Assist in Implementing operational policies and procedures in accordance with the company’s guidelines
  • Ensure safe and effective use of warehouse equipment and staff Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain standards of health, hygiene, and safety. Requiring 100% adherence at all-times while on warehouse premise
  • Accountable for meeting and exceeding performance goals and objectives to achieve customer demand while ensuring accuracy and upholding quality control standards
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
  • Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
  • Assist in the proper training and development of warehouse staff, providing employees with the resources needed to perform their job duties
  • Coach and motivate employees through recognition and reward programs. Manage performance of employees by providing constructive feedback and taking disciplinary actions as needed
  • Perform duties as assigned by management which could include but are not limited to strategic planning and forecasting; identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks, deficiencies, and problems; and addressing staffing needs

What We Want From You:

  • 2+ years of proven work experience as a warehouse manager or similar
  • Knowledge of warehouse management procedures and best practices
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives and deliver results
  • Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Proficient computer skills. Added plus for hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills

How You’ll Stand Out:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge/certification(s)
  • Proven ability to manage teams of more than 10
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
